The Bergans Oppdal Insulated Ws Jacket is a warm and technical women's ski jacket, developed for alpine, off-piste and other winter activities. The waterproof two-layer material combines with four-way stretch and warming synthetic insulation to provide weather protection, freedom of movement and comfort for long days on the slopes.
The jacket also has ventilation zippers, a helmet-compatible hood, a removable powder skirt and a RECCO® reflector – functional details for skiing in varying winter weather.
Bergans Element Active® is a soft, windproof and waterproof two-layer material with a water column of at least 10,000 mm. The four-way stretch makes the jacket flexible and provides good freedom of movement during both leisurely and more active skiing.
Pre-bent elbows, shaped cuffs and an extended back contribute to better mobility, fit and protection.
The jacket is insulated with 100 g/m² Bergans ArcticInsulation in polyester. The synthetic insulation provides effective warmth and retains its insulating properties even when the material gets damp.
Underarm ventilation zippers make it easy to release excess heat as activity levels increase. The two-way front zipper provides further customization for ventilation and freedom of movement.
The large, fixed hood is adjustable and designed to be worn with a ski helmet. A high collar with a protective visor helps keep wind and snow away from the head and neck.
The removable powder skirt, also known as a snow skirt, reduces the risk of snow getting under the jacket when falling or skiing in deep snow. When the powder skirt is not needed, it can be easily removed.
An integrated RECCO® reflector in the hood makes the jacket searchable with professional RECCO equipment. The reflector requires no batteries or activation, but does not replace avalanche transceivers, knowledge or other safety equipment when skiing in avalanche terrain.

Bergans Oppdal Insulated Ws Jacket, item number 2039, is a lined ski jacket with a women's specific and relatively close fit. Although the model is listed as slim fit, the cut is developed for layering and should allow freedom of movement over a midlayer.
The size chart shows recommended body measurements in centimeters. When choosing a jacket, the chest width is the most important measurement.

The measurements in the table are body measurements, not the outer dimensions of the jacket.
Chest: Measure around the widest part of your chest with your arms relaxed at your sides. The measuring tape should lie horizontally across your back.
Waist: Measure around the natural waist, usually where the torso is at its narrowest.
Hip width: Measure around the widest part of the hips and seat with your feet placed next to each other.
Body length: Measure without shoes from the top of your head to the floor. Body length is a guide - chest width is more important for the fit of the jacket.
Please measure over the base layer and midlayer that you plan to use under the jacket.
Start with your chest measurement first. If your chest measurement is clearly within a range, you can usually choose the corresponding size without automatically adding layers under your jacket.
Bergans garments are generally designed for layering. If you are between sizes, Bergans usually recommends the smaller size. However, for this slim fit model, the larger size may be more suitable if you have broad shoulders, a heavier upper body or plan to wear a thick mid-layer.
When you try on the jacket, you should be able to zip up your planned layers without the material being tight across your chest or back. You should also be able to lift your arms, bend your elbows, and rotate your torso without the jacket restricting your movements.
If your chest, waist and hip measurements correspond to different sizes, you should prioritize the chest width. At the same time, check that the closed jacket does not fit too tightly across the hips.
