Bergans Oppdal Insulated Ms Jacket is a warm and technical ski jacket for men, developed for alpine, off-piste and other winter activities. The combination of a waterproof two-layer material, flexible four-way stretch and warming synthetic insulation provides a good balance between weather protection, freedom of movement and comfort.
The jacket also has ventilation zippers, a helmet-compatible hood, a removable powder skirt and a RECCO® reflector – practical features for long days on the ski slopes and in the mountains.
The two-layer Bergans Element Active® material is wind and waterproof with a water column of at least 10,000 mm. The outer fabric's four-way stretch makes the jacket flexible and provides good freedom of movement while skiing.
Pre-bent elbows, shaped cuffs and an extended back contribute to a comfortable fit and better protection when you move actively.
The jacket is insulated with 100 g/m² Bergans ArcticInsulation in polyester. The synthetic insulation provides effective warmth and retains its insulating properties even when the material gets damp.
Ventilation zippers under the arms and a two-way zipper at the front make it easy to release excess heat as activity levels increase.
The large, fixed hood is adjustable and designed to accommodate a ski helmet. A high collar with visor provides extra protection against wind, cold and snow.
The removable snow skirt, also known as a snow skirt, helps keep snow out when falling or skiing in deeper snow. When not needed, it can be easily removed.

Designed for skiing, the jacket allows for layering while the four-way stretch allows for good mobility. The hem can be adjusted with an elastic drawstring that can be operated with one hand, while the cuffs are regulated with Velcro.

Bergans Oppdal Insulated Ms Jacket, item number 2093, has a technical men's fit designed for skiing and winter activities. The jacket is insulated but also provides space for base layers and a normal midlayer.

Chest: Measure around the widest part of your chest with your arms relaxed at your sides.
Waist: Measure around the narrowest part of your waist without tightening the tape measure.
Hip: Measure around the widest part of the hip and butt.
Body length: Measure from the top of your head to the floor when standing upright without shoes.
Oppdal Insulated is already insulated with Bergans ArcticInsulation and therefore does not normally need to be combined with a very thick midlayer. A base layer and a thinner fleece or wool sweater will usually fit in a regular size.

Make sure the jacket is not tight across the chest, shoulders or back when you stretch your arms forward. The sleeves should reach the wrist even when your arms are bent.
