The OMM Cordlocks are lightweight replacement cord locks for repairing or adapting OMM backpacks, clothing and other outdoor equipment. They are designed to secure two cords and fit, for example, drawstrings on pack bags, compression systems, hems and other adjustable cord solutions.
The cable locks are assembled without tools or special equipment. The package contains two pieces, making them practical both for home repairs and as a spare part during longer runs, hikes and expeditions.
Cordlocks are designed to adjust two cords or both ends of a continuous drawstring. They are therefore well suited for packing bags, clothing hems and other constructions where two cord ends need to be adjusted simultaneously.
For a construction with only one continuous cord, OMM Squeeze Cordlocs should be used instead.
The rope locks are designed for quick assembly without special tools. Press the locking mechanism, thread the ropes through the openings and then release the button to secure them.
The compact size means an extra pair can easily be stored in your repair kit. A spare can be especially valuable on longer trips where a broken cable lock can otherwise make it difficult to close or compress your gear.
The rope locks are compatible with OMM ropes and developed for the brand's backpacks and clothing. They can also fit many other backpacks, pack bags and outdoor clothing with a similar rope thickness and construction.
Cordlocks are intended for adjusting drawstrings and compression lines. They should not be used for climbing, personal protection, or other safety-critical and load-bearing functions.
