Umara U Iron – Gentle iron supplement with maximum absorption

Umara U Iron is an advanced yet gentle iron supplement for those who want to increase their iron levels without experiencing stomach upset. Each tablet contains 20 mg of elemental iron in the form of ferrous bisglycinate – a chelated and organic form of iron known for its high absorption capacity and minimal impact on the stomach .

The formula is also fortified with 50 mg of vitamin C , which further supports absorption at meals where iron-inhibiting substances are present (for example, tea, coffee, whole grains and phytates).

Why iron bisglycinate?

Iron bisglycinate is bound to the amino acid glycine , which provides several benefits:

Gentle on the stomach – does not interact with the intestinal wall in the same way as traditional forms of iron

High bioavailability – absorbed via two pathways (amino acid transport + iron transport via DMT1)

Stable structure – minimizes irritation and oxidative stress in the intestine

When and how should U Iron be taken?

Recommended dose:
1 tablet daily , preferably on an empty stomach in the morning .

This is because the hormone hepcidin , which inhibits iron absorption, is usually lowest in the morning.

Vitamin C is not necessary with iron bisglycinate, but may be beneficial if you take the tablet with food that inhibits absorption.
