The Umara Triathlon Full Distance Package is a comprehensive energy package developed for full distance triathlons (approx. 12 hours ) such as Ironman Kalmar or similar competitions worldwide. The package is adapted for all phases – swimming, cycling and running – with a structured and gentle energy plan that helps you maintain performance level and focus from start to finish.
Before the start, it is recommended to take 1 × U Gel (30 g carbohydrates) 10–15 minutes before the swim start to ensure available energy right from the start. During the cycling part (approx. 5.5 hours ), the package provides up to 90 g carbohydrates per hour : 5 × U Sport (100 g) are mixed in two bottles and consumed continuously, supplemented with 2 × U Bar evenly distributed (one at approx. 60 min and one after approx. 4 hours). U Intend Shot is taken in T1 for extra mental and physical sharpness.
During the run (approx. 4.5 hours ), the plan is 50 g of carbohydrates per hour via U Gel every 30 minutes , starting after 30 minutes. In addition, it is recommended to supplement with sports drink/cola from stations (approx. 20–30 g of carbohydrates per hour ). A second U Intend Shot is taken in T2 . If the race takes longer than 12 hours , 1 gel is added for every extra 30 minutes of running or 1 sachet of sports drink for every extra hour of cycling .
All products are developed by biomedical scientists in Sweden and manufactured according to HACCP/GMP standards . The package comes with the option to choose flavors and a printable energy plan for easy overview in the competition situation.
