The Topo Athletic Ultraventure 4 Wide is the fourth generation of Topo's best-selling max cushioned trail shoe , designed for long training sessions, ultra-distance and hiking in light to moderate terrain. The wide version provides extra room in the forefoot and midfoot , without compromising stability or control — ideal for those who need more volume or prefer a roomier fit.

The shoe is built on a 35/30 mm platform (heel/forefoot) with Topo's own ZipFoam™ midsole , which provides a soft yet responsive running feel and maintains cushioning over time. The low 5 mm drop promotes a natural stride while the high cushioning protects joints and soles during long days on the trail.

The upper is made from recycled mesh with strategically placed PU reinforcements for added durability in high-wear areas. Topo's signature spacious anatomical toe box allows your toes to spread naturally for better balance and comfort, especially as your feet swell over time.

Underfoot, a Vibram® XS Trek EVO outsole is optimized for traction on a variety of surfaces and smooth transitions between trail and gravel/tarmac. The tread pattern is designed for light to medium terrain, making the Ultraventure 4 a reliable choice for trail-to-road and long, smooth trails.
