The OMM Halo+ Jacket Womens is an ultralight, waterproof and breathable shell jacket developed for trail running, mountain running and competitions in varying weather conditions . Weighing only about 120 grams, the jacket can be packed down to just over the size of a tennis ball , making it ideal when the rain jacket is worn at least as often in the pack as on the body.
The jacket is made from Point Zero H20® , a 2-layer waterproof and breathable material , and is equipped with fully taped seams for full weather protection. Despite its low weight, the Halo+ Jacket offers reliable protection in exposed environments, especially in rapid weather changes in the mountains .
The “Plus” version differs from the classic Halo with the addition of two zippered hand pockets , providing increased functionality for storing gloves, a hat, a map or energy during activity. A dynamic droptail provides extra coverage at the back, while extended cuffs with thumbholes help keep the jacket in place in windy conditions.
The women's specific fit is tailored for running and long distances, with a close but flexible cut that doesn't restrict movement. The Halo+ Jacket Womens also meets the requirements of many ultra and mountain race mandatory equipment lists , making it an obvious choice for competition.

Use the size chart below to find the right size based on your body measurements.
| Size | UK size | Bust size | Hip circumference | Body length |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| XS | 6–8 | 78–82 cm | 81–86cm | 152–162 cm |
| S | 8–10 | 82–86 cm | 86–92 cm | 157–167 cm |
| M | 10–12 | 86–91 cm | 92–97 cm | 162–172 cm |
| L | 12–14 | 91–96cm | 96–102 cm | 167–177 cm |
| XL | 14–16 | 96–101cm | 102–107 cm | 174–180 cm |
The measurements in the table are body measurements, not measurements of the jacket itself.
The Halo+ Jacket Womens has a women's-specific, running-specific fit. It sits closer to the body than a traditional shell jacket and is designed to reduce flutter and excess material while running.
The model generally feels true to size when worn over a thin base layer. However, the fit may feel tight if you are close to the upper bust or hip measurements of the size or want to use an insulating mid-layer.
Measure directly against your body or over the layers you plan to wear underneath the jacket. Keep the tape measure horizontal and close to your body without pulling it too tight.
Measure around the fullest part of the bust and over the shoulder blades. Let your arms hang loosely at your sides.
Measure around the widest part of your hips and buttocks. Stand with your feet about hip-width apart.
Measure your height without shoes, from the floor to the highest point of your head.
Try on the jacket with the layers you plan to wear underneath. The correct size means:
A size that is too small restricts freedom of movement and leaves too little room for layers. A jacket that is too large can flap in the wind and impair the running-friendly fit.
