A new concept in active insulation, the OMM Core Range is made entirely from PrimaLoft® ACTIVE ultralight insulating fabric. Constructed from a synthetic down woven through a knitted mesh, the Core offers the warmth of a fleece but at less than half the weight. Paired with a shell, the core is an incredibly effective insulator, but thanks to its near-total air permeability, the lightest breeze can take that heat away. This allows you to keep your core layer on even when you’ve warmed up and you can thermoregulate by removing/unlocking your shell (e.g. the Sonic Windproof at 49g). A true valley to peak. Core works wet or dry with incredible moisture wicking properties to ensure you don’t stay soaked for long.

Wear the Core Vest as a super warm first layer in the coldest events and challenges from OMM to Spine and Yukon Ultra or layer it on as an insulating mid layer.

The Core Vest uses the lightest 75g/m2 PrimaLoft® ACTIVE Insulating Fabric Technology, a lighter version of the 125g/m2 PrimaLoft® Active fabric used in the Core Jacket and Core+ Hoodie
