The OMM Mountain Core 250 is a warmer and more protective synthetic sleeping bag , developed for colder conditions, multi-day adventures and mountain environments where reliable insulation and durability are more important than extreme minimalism. It is the obvious choice for Mountain Marathons, ultra-adventures, fastpacking and longer tours , where weather changes and damp conditions place high demands on the equipment.

The sleeping bag is filled with PrimaLoft® synthetic insulation , which provides good warmth even when wet and is easier to care for than down. Unlike the lightest Raid models, the Mountain Core 250 prioritizes even insulation around the entire body , which provides a safer sleeping climate during cold nights and longer breaks in camp.

The outer fabric is made from OMM's PointZero nylon with a DWR treatment , which provides good wind protection and resistance to light precipitation and condensation. The construction is designed to minimize cold spots and maintain the stability of the insulation over time, even with repeated use in harsh terrain.

The Mountain Core 250 features a mummy-shaped fit for effective heat retention, a contoured foot box for extra comfort, and a drawstring hood to help lock in warmth when the temperature drops. A longer zipper than on the most pared-down models provides better ventilation and makes the bag more versatile in varying temperatures.
