Exped Terra -18C 0F MW is a warm and spacious down sleeping bag for winter trips, mountain camping and cold nights in tents. The MW version combines normal length with extra width and is suitable for those up to about 180 cm tall and who want more space around the body.

The sleeping bag has RDS-certified duck down with 650+ cuin fill power, a thermal collar and an insulating channel along the zipper. The comfort temperature is −10 °C and the limit temperature is −17 °C.

Down insulation and well-thought-out heat distribution

The filling consists of 1,323 grams of duck down, which forms an insulating layer around the body. The thermal collar helps to trap warm air, while insulation along the zipper reduces heat loss at the opening.

The 3D shaped foot box has eleven individually filled down chambers. The construction gives your feet space while distributing the down around the foot area.

The outer fabric in recycled 20D ripstop polyester combines low fabric weight with a reinforced weave structure. The inside has a lining in recycled 20D polyester.

Wide fit in regular length

MW stands for Medium Wide. With a length of 205 cm and an inside shoulder circumference of 170 cm, this model is suitable for those who need extra width in a sleeping bag adapted for body lengths up to approximately 180 cm. The circumference at the feet is 105 cm.

The zipper is located on the left side and has a guard that reduces the risk of fabric getting caught. An interior pocket provides space for smaller belongings.

Temperature and equipment selection

When choosing a sleeping bag, consider a comfort temperature of −10 °C , especially if you are prone to cold. The limit temperature of −17 °C is for someone who is less sensitive to cold.

Use the sleeping bag together with a well-insulating sleeping pad and choose a temperature rating with a margin for the conditions on the trip.

Care and storage

Air out the sleeping bag after use and let it dry completely before packing it away. Store it loosely in the mesh bag so that the down can maintain its volume. Compress the sleeping bag when transporting.

Clean minor stains with a damp sponge. When washing, follow the product care instructions and use a detergent designed for down. Allow the filling to dry completely before using or storing the sleeping bag.
