Nikwax Rug Proof 1 Liter – Impregnation for horse rugs

The product is easily used directly in the washing machine and is completely PFC-free, water-based and non-flammable - a safe choice for both horses, people and the environment.

By reducing the fabric's water absorption, Rug Proof improves the rug's performance in rain and slush, helping to keep the horse drier, warmer and more comfortable for longer.

How to use Nikwax Rug Proof

For best results, the blanket should always be cleaned first.

Wash the horse rug with Nikwax Rug Wash™

Make sure the detergent compartment is completely clean

Put 1 clean horse blanket in the washing machine

Shake the bottle well.

Dose 500 ml Rug Proof per blanket

Run 30 °C cotton program

Air dry or tumble dry on low heat if the washing advice allows

⚠️ Treat a maximum of one horse blanket per wash .
