Nikwax Waterproofing Wax for Leather Liquid Black is a high-performance black leather wax that provides effective water repellency while maintaining the suppleness, support and breathability of the leather. The product is specifically designed for smooth leather shoes and boots , including models with waterproof membranes.

The water-based and PFC-free formula is easy to apply by hand and improves both the comfort and longevity of your shoes – perfect for everyday wear, hiking and working in harsh weather conditions.

How to use Nikwax Waterproofing Wax for Leather

Clean the shoes thoroughly, preferably with Nikwax Footwear Cleaning Gel.

Protect your work surface and shake the bottle well.

Press the sponge applicator and apply to wet leather.

Leave on for 2–3 minutes.

Wipe off excess wax with a cloth.

Lightly polish with a damp cloth for a nice finish

⚠️ Note: May darken leather – always test on a hidden area first. Nubuck will have a smooth, waxed surface.

Drying & care

Let the shoes dry at room temperature.

Stuff paper in your toes to absorb moisture

Avoid radiators, heaters and open heat – drying too quickly can damage the leather and sole.
