Nikwax Conditioner for Leather™ – care, suppleness and protection for leather shoes

Nikwax Conditioner for Leather™ is a waterproofing leather conditioner developed to soften, care for and protect smooth leather shoes and leather products . Perfect for both new leather shoes that need softening and older shoes where the leather has become dry and stiff.

Unlike traditional waxes and oils, this conditioner preserves the breathability of leather , making it ideal even for shoes with Gore-Tex®, eVent® and SympaTex® membranes . The result is shoes that stay drier, warmer and more comfortable – for longer.

The water-based formula is PFC-free, aerosol-free and non-flammable , and is easily applied with the built-in sponge applicator.

How to use Nikwax Conditioner for Leather™

Brush off dirt with a damp cloth and clean if necessary with Nikwax Footwear Cleaning Gel™

Shake the bottle well and press the sponge applicator to break the seal.

Apply to wet leather , making sure to also treat edges and seams

Remove excess and polish lightly with a damp cloth for a fine finish.

For fabric and combination shoes : use Nikwax Fabric & Leather Proof™

Drying & care

Let the shoes dry at room temperature.

Stuff paper in your toes to absorb moisture (replace as needed)

Avoid radiators and direct heat – rapid drying can crack leather and loosen soles
