Nikwax Fabric & Leather Proof is a high-performance waterproofing for fabric, leather and combination footwear , developed to provide reliable water repellency while maintaining the shoe's breathability .
Unlike traditional waxes, it does not soften the leather and does not affect the shoe's support or fit. The result is drier, warmer and more comfortable feet , even with prolonged use in wet conditions.
The water-based formula is PFC-free, non-flammable and easy to apply with a built-in sponge – perfect both at home and on the go.

Area of application: Shoes made of fabric, leather and combination materials
Application: By hand, sponge-on
Finish: Preserves the natural properties of the materials
Clean the shoe with a damp brush. For heavy soiling – use Nikwax Shoe Cleaning Gel
Shake the bottle well and press the sponge until the seal releases
Apply generously to wet shoes
After about 2 minutes – wipe away excess liquid with a cloth
Let the shoes dry naturally
⚠️ Note: Light-colored fabric or leather may darken slightly. Always test on a hidden area first.
Let the shoes dry at room temperature.
Stuff paper in your toes to absorb moisture (replace as needed)
Avoid radiators, heaters and open heat – drying too quickly can damage leather and glued soles.
Hiking shoes, trail and leisure shoes and boots in mixed materials (fabric + leather) , especially with waterproof membranes.
