Lundhags Skare Expedition Ms is Lundhags' warmest winter boot, developed for long days in snow and cold. The high construction, the removable inner shoe in 5 mm wool felt and the insulating insole with PrimaLoft Aerogel make the boot suitable for winter hiking, ice fishing and other activities in cold conditions.

The boot has a wide fit, spacious toe box and a 32 cm high shaft. The Vibram outsole combines IceTrek rubber with Arctic Grip technology for grip on snowy and icy surfaces.

Skare Expedition Ms is designed for users with high demands on warmth, protection and function. The boot is constructed according to Lundhags' shell principle with a durable Perwanger leather upper and a Certech cellular rubber lower part.

The cellular rubber part is waterproof and insulates against cold and wet from below. The combination with a removable felt liner makes it easier to manage moisture and dry the boots during longer winter trips.

Removable liner and Aerogel insulation

The removable inner boot is made of 5 mm wool felt and features Lundhags HFC heel grip. Heel Fit Control helps keep the heel in place and contributes to a more stable fit.

An insulating insole with PrimaLoft Aerogel reduces heat loss to the ground. The liner can be removed for separate drying or replaced when worn.

Vibram Arctic Grip for winter surfaces

The Vibram Mattarone outsole combines IceTrek rubber with Arctic Grip technology to provide traction on snow and ice. The robust sole is suitable for both hiking and activities that require you to stand or move slowly in cold conditions.

Keep in mind that no outsole can completely eliminate the risk of slipping. Adapt your step to the surface and supplement with anti-slip when conditions require it.

Skare Expedition Ms has a wide fit and spacious toe space. Space in front of the toes is important in a winter boot, but don't automatically choose a larger size to accommodate multiple thick socks.

A boot that is too big can provide poor heel grip and stability, while a boot that is too small can restrict blood circulation and make the foot feel cold. Measure the length of your foot and compare with Lundhags' size guide before ordering.

Care and drying

Remove the inner shoes and insoles after use and let them dry separately. Avoid placing the boots directly against a stove, hot radiator or other strong heat source.

Clean the leather and cellular rubber after use. Treat the leather parts with a shoe care product suitable for Perwanger suede leather. Follow Lundhags care instructions to preserve the function and lifespan of the materials.

When the outsole is worn out, the boot can be resoled. Other parts can also be repaired if necessary through Lundhags repair service.
