Trangia Multifuel X2

Multifuel is a safe burner especially suitable for extreme weather conditions such as low temperatures. Fits all Trangia kitchens series 25 Large and 27. Can be used with gas and fits all propane / butane gas containers with threaded valves that meet the standard EN417, an international standard found all over the world. Primus, MSR, Optimus, Jet boil are some examples of manufacturers of gas containers.

Gas or liquid fuels such as chemically pure petrol or Primus Powerfuel are recommended. They have the highest possible energy content, are burned very clean and require the least cleaning and maintenance. Kerosene and diesel can be used in emergencies but require a lot of cleaning. Ordinary 95 octane gasoline should not be used.

Boil 1 liter of water in 4 minutes with gas and 4.5 minutes with chemically pure gasoline. At full power, it burns approx. 2 dl petrol or 116 grams of gas per hour.

For trouble-free use of the gas burner, the instructions are included. There is also advice on cleaning and care. The burner should be opened regularly for maintenance from the beginning. This prevents the threaded flame spreader from getting stuck and keeping the nozzle and fuel line clean and open.

Requires preheating and regular maintenance. Tools and a service kit for outdoor kitchens are recommended, especially for longer trips and expeditions.
