The Sea To Summit Ultralight Air Sleeping Mat - Regular is a lightweight and compact inflatable sleeping mat for summer hiking, cycling, travel and other adventures where low pack weight is a priority. The Regular model measures 183 × 55 centimeters and weighs only about 395 grams.

The five-centimeter thick construction is based on Sea to Summit's Air Sprung Cells™, where 181 individual air cells provide flexible support and help the body distribute pressure across the sleeping surface.

Air Sprung Cells follow the body's movements

The mattress is constructed with a single layer of point-connected air chambers. Each cell can be compressed relatively independently of the surrounding cells, giving a feel more reminiscent of a pocket spring mattress than traditional longitudinal air channels.

The tapered shape reduces unnecessary material and keeps both weight and pack volume down. The regular size fits users up to approximately 183 centimeters tall.

R-value 1.1 for warm conditions

The Ultralight Air Sleeping Mat is uninsulated and has an R-value of 1.1. It is primarily designed for summer use and overnight stays on warm ground.

The underlay should not be chosen as the only ground insulation in cold weather, winter camping or temperatures around freezing. In this case, a sleeping pad with a higher R-value or a supplementary insulating foam underlay is needed.

Lightweight and durable construction

The outer fabric is made of 30D/40D ripstop nylon with TPU lamination. The material combination provides a lightweight, airtight and relatively durable construction for use in tents and other protected sleeping areas.

The inside has an antimicrobial treatment that helps prevent the growth of microorganisms in the TPU material. The surface also has a water-repellent treatment that makes cleaning easier.

Multifunction valve and integrated pump bag

The low-profile multi-function valve has separate functions for inflation, fine-tuning and quick deflation. A check valve prevents air from escaping between pumps, while the fine-tuning allows small amounts of air to be released until the ground is at the desired firmness.

The included storage bag also doubles as an Airstream™ pump bag. The base can be filled with a few pump bags without having to blow in large amounts of moist exhaled air.

PillowLock keeps the pillow in place

The PillowLock™ system consists of self-adhesive attachment points that can be mounted on the sleeping pad and used with compatible Sea to Summit Aeros pillows. The system reduces the risk of the pillow slipping off the pad as you move around during the night.

Use

Roll out the sleeping pad on a surface that is free of sharp rocks, twigs and thorns. Connect the pump bag to the valve, capture air and then press it into the pad. Repeat until the pad is filled.

Lie down on the mat and use the fine adjustment of the valve to release some air if you want a softer lying surface. Open the deflation part of the valve fully when the mat is to be packed.

Care and storage

Wipe the sleeping pad with a soft cloth, lukewarm water and a mild detergent. Allow it to air dry completely before rolling it up. Do not machine wash or tumble dry the pad.

Store in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight. Check the ground before use and keep the surface away from sharp objects, open flames and strong heat sources. Minor punctures can be repaired with the included adhesive patches.
