The Sea To Summit Eco Camp Mat Selfinflate Long is a spacious, self-inflating sleeping mat for hiking, camping and overnight stays in nature. With a length of 198 centimeters and a width of 64 centimeters, the Long model provides plenty of space for taller users and those who want to be able to move more during the night.
The base is 3.8 centimeters thick and has an R-value of 4.2. The combination of insulating PU foam, Delta Core-V™ and durable 75D polyester provides a good balance between sleeping comfort, warmth, durability and packability.
The 198 x 64 cm lying surface is both longer and wider than the Regular model. The extra space is suitable for taller people, wider body types and those who prioritize freedom of movement over the lowest possible weight.
Despite its generous size, the sleeping pad weighs approximately 907 grams and packs down to approximately 16.5 × 33 centimeters.
The interior is made of self-expanding PU foam with Sea to Summit's Delta Core-V™ construction. Vertical, triangular channels remove foam where it is least useful, helping to reduce the weight and pack volume of the base.
More foam is left at the shoulders, hips and feet to provide support and insulation in the body's key contact areas. The construction provides a more even combination of comfort and warmth than if the foam had been equally hollowed out across the entire sleeping surface.
The R-value describes how well a sleeping pad prevents heat loss to the ground. The higher the value, the better the pad insulates. Eco Camp Mat Long has an R-value of 4.2 and is primarily intended for spring, summer and autumn.
Actual sleeping comfort is also affected by sleeping bag, temperature, ground conditions, clothing and individual cold tolerance. For winter trips or severe cold, the base may need to be supplemented with a foam base or replaced with a model with a higher R-value.
When the valve is opened, the foam core expands and automatically draws air in. You can then take a few extra breaths to adjust the firmness of the mattress to your sleeping position and personal preferences.
The low-profile multi-function valve has high airflow and separate functions for inflation, fine-tuning and quick deflation. The deflation position prevents the mat from drawing in new air while it is rolled up.
The top and bottom are made of durable 75D polyester with extruded and laminated TPU. The material combination provides a durable and airtight sleeping pad for repeated use in tents and on campsites.
A repair kit is included for simple repairs during the trip.

Unroll the sleeping pad and open the valve. Allow the foam core to expand and draw air in. Then blow in additional air if necessary and fine-tune the pressure until the pad has the desired firmness.
When using for the first time or after a long period of rolled up storage, self-inflating may be slower. In this case, manually inflate the base once to help the foam cells expand.
Wipe the sleeping pad with a soft cloth, water and a mild detergent. Let it dry completely before packing it away. Do not machine wash or tumble dry the pad.
For longer storage, the sleeping pad should be rolled out with the valve open. This helps the foam core maintain its expansion capacity. Avoid sharp objects, open flames and prolonged exposure to strong sunlight.
