The Nordisk Telemark 1 LW (2.0) Tent is an advanced lightweight tent for those who want to keep weight and pack volume down without sacrificing function and comfort. It is developed for one person and is particularly suitable for mountain hiking, long-distance hiking, bikepacking, fastpacking and other trips where the tent will be carried for many hours.
The tent's unique construction and modern lightweight materials result in a trim weight of only 820 grams . The official weight is 890 grams and the total weight including all accessories is approximately 970 grams. When packed down, the tent measures only 13 × 35 cm , making it easy to place in or on top of a smaller backpack.
The flysheet is made of 10D ripstop nylon with a three-layer silicone coating on both sides. The material combines low weight with high tear strength and has a water column of 2,000 mm . The floor is made of stronger 20D nylon with a PU coating and a water column of 8,000 mm .
The double-walled construction creates a separate inner and outer tent. The tent is pitched with the outer tent first, which helps keep the inner tent protected when pitching in the rain. The interior space is 215 cm long and 98 cm wide, with an internal height of 98 cm.
The Telemark 1 LW (2.0) has a practical vestibule for shoes, gear and other equipment. The front door can also be converted into a smaller roof using the included extra rope, creating a more open and protected space outside the tent.
The updated ventilation includes a shaped opening along the ground and a door that can be kept partially open even in inclement weather. The new mesh door provides better visibility and increased airflow from the inner tent.
The tent is pitched with a lightweight DAC Featherlite NSL aluminum pole . The new pole pocket and pole holder simplify set-up, while reinforced rope attachments and an additional central attachment point provide better resistance in windy weather.

The Telemark 1 LW (2.0) is pitched with the flysheet first. Insert the main pole into the pole channel and place the ends in the pole holders. Then secure the tent corners and vestibule with the ground pegs.
The inner and outer tent can be stored connected, making it possible to pitch both parts at the same time. This is especially practical in the rain as the inner tent does not need to be exposed during pitching.
For best stability, all ropes and attachment points should be used in windy or exposed weather.
The tent's updated ground-level cut creates better air circulation between the outer and inner tents. The front door can be left partially open for extra ventilation even in inclement weather.
The mesh door in the inner tent contributes to increased airflow and provides a better view when the front door is open.
Condensation can occur in all tents, so ventilate the tent as much as weather conditions allow and avoid placing wet equipment directly against the walls of the inner tent.
Always let the tent dry completely before packing it away for an extended period of time. Storing a damp tent can cause bad odors, mold, and damage to the coating.
Clean the tent gently with lukewarm water and a soft sponge. Avoid washing machines, strong detergents and solvents.
Regularly check the tent fabric, ropes, poles and ground pegs. Repair small damages as soon as possible to prevent them from becoming larger.
The trim weight is 820 g, the official weight is 890 g and the total weight with all accessories is approximately 970 g.
The packing dimensions are only 13 × 35 cm.
