The Samaya NANO BIVY is an extremely lightweight and minimalist bivy sack , developed for fast and safe mountaineering where every gram counts. Weighing in at around 245 grams and packing volume of around 1 liter, the NANO BIVY is intended to function both as a primary sleeping solution in a minimal style and as safety equipment at the bottom of the backpack for alpine tours and quick attacks in the mountain environment.

The upper is made of Nanovent® , a 3-layer waterproof and highly breathable membrane that combines waterproofness of around 10,000 mm with breathability of up to 40,000 g/m²/24h . This allows the NANO BIVY to be used in harsh alpine conditions with better condensation control than traditional bivy sacks made of fully sealed materials.

The floor is constructed of Dyneema® Composite Fabric (DCF) with a waterproof rating of approximately 20,000 mm , which provides very high durability and resistance to abrasion in relation to the low weight. The combination of Nanovent® on the top and Dyneema® on the bottom provides robust protection against moisture, wind and the ground , while keeping the total weight extremely low.

The Samaya NANO BIVY is sized to fit around a sleeping bag and a mummy-shaped sleeping pad , creating a compact yet weather-protected sleeping system suitable for ledges, snow caves or exposed bivouac sites . All seams are 100% taped , and the product comes with a repair kit for long life in demanding environments.

NANO BIVY is a specialized tool for users moving in alpine style , where the bivouac is part of the strategy rather than the goal, and where minimal weight, reliable weather protection and a high safety margin are crucial.
