The Exped Bivybag Duo UL is an ultra-light, highly packable and robust bivy bag designed to provide quick and effective protection for two people in emergency situations . It is a must-have safety accessory for hiking, mountaineering, alpine adventures and longer trips where low weight and high preparedness are essential.

With a shoulder width of approximately 140 cm, the Duo UL offers plenty of space for two people who need protection from wind, rain, dew and ground moisture . The bivouac bag is made of 15 D ripstop nylon with PU and silicone coating and taped seams , which provides good water repellency and durability despite its low weight.

To reduce the risk of moisture build-up, the Bivybag Duo UL has three ventilation openings in the bottom , which helps reduce condensation when used over sleeping bags. The strong signal colour makes users easier to spot in rescue and emergency situations.

In addition to being used as a bivy sack, the Duo UL can also function as wind and weather protection during breaks or be used as a poncho for one person , making it particularly versatile on trips where the equipment needs to fulfill multiple functions.
