The Exped Bivybag Uno UL is an ultra-light, extremely packable and robust bivy bag , designed to provide quick protection from wind and weather in emergency situations . It is designed to always fit in your backpack and is a must-have safety item on hiking, alpine tours and longer adventures where the weather can change quickly.
The bivouac bag is made of 15 D ripstop nylon with PU and silicone coating and taped seams , which provides good water repellency and protection against ground moisture and light rain. The water-repellent central zipper makes the bag easy to use while keeping moisture out.
The Uno UL features an anatomical mummy shape with hood , which improves comfort and protection around the head and shoulders. It can be used both as a stand-alone emergency bivouac and as a VBL (Vapor Barrier Liner) inside a sleeping bag, to reduce moisture from the body and maintain insulation in cold and wet conditions.
Its bright signal color increases visibility in rescue and emergency situations. Despite its low weight, the material is durable and suitable for use in mountains, high mountain terrain and exposed environments .
