Åsnes Finnmark 54 Waxless is a light, longitudinally stiff and turning touring ski without a steel edge , designed for long tours in the mountains and forests. Thanks to the low weight and longitudinal stability, this is a ski that really comes into its own when the distance is long and the pack is heavy.

The lack of steel edges makes Finnmark 54 an excellent choice for those who travel with dogs , while also working very well for classic ski touring in varied terrain.

Free from grazing – but flexible

The ski is equipped with a non-waddling base with a structured attachment zone , which provides reliable grip in most conditions without the need for traditional wading. At the same time, the Finnmark 54 is equipped with an X-Skin attachment , which makes it easy to supplement with short skins for steeper climbs or heavier loads.

The clear waxing zone also makes it possible to wax the ski traditionally if you prefer – a big advantage for the experienced skier.

For mountains, forests and groomed trails

With its narrow waist and classic shape , the Finnmark 54 is also suitable for groomed ski trails , making it a very versatile touring ski. Nordic Rocker and a marked turn-in contribute to the ski feeling easy to turn despite its longitudinal stability.

The ski is built around a lightweight poplar wood core , reinforced with carbon fiber and fiberglass , which provides an optimal balance between low weight, strength and efficient power transfer.
