Åsnes Access Skin 100mm MIX is a short and light climbing skin developed for alpine ski touring and skiers who want effective grip on the slopes without compromising on glide and weight . With a well-balanced 70/30 mix of mohair and nylon , you get an optimal combination of good grip, smooth glide and high durability.

The Access Skin is mounted in the midsection of the ski , providing sufficient grip on moderate terrain, approaches and shorter climbs – perfect for top tours where you don’t want to wear full-length skins all day. Thanks to its compact design, it takes up minimal space and fits easily in a jacket pocket or backpack.

The low weight also means a weight saving of around 450–500 grams compared to traditional hiking skins , which makes a big difference during long days in the mountains.
