Åsnes X-Skin Extreme 45 mm – durable short climbing skin for demanding conditions

Åsnes X-Skin Extreme 45 mm is a short 100% nylon skin , developed for maximum durability and secure grip when ski touring in a mountain environment . It is particularly suitable for wet, heavy and variable snow , where nylon provides superior grip and durability compared to mohair blends.

The skin is made by the well-reputed Swiss manufacturer Colltex and fits all Åsnes skis with X-Skin/skin attachment .

Maximum adhesion and long service life

The fully synthetic nylon construction provides:

very good grip in difficult snow conditions

high resistance to wear

The integrated metal fastener at the front protects the skin from wear and ensures that it sits firmly on the ski throughout the entire trip.

For even better performance, the ski skin can be impregnated with ski skin glue impregnation , which improves both glide and resistance to icing.

Practical storage for mountain trips

Åsnes X-Skin Extreme comes with a functional storage bag that:

can be attached to a backpack or belt

has perforated bottom for drainage
