The Komperdell Free Touring TI is an extremely robust and reliable touring pole , developed for demanding backcountry skiing and winter tours where the equipment must perform under tough loads. The construction combines low weight with maximum durability and is adapted for skiers who prioritize stability and long service life.

The pole is constructed in two sections , with the upper section made of 7075-T6 aluminum and the lower section made of Titanal . This material combination provides high strength and durability where the load is greatest, while keeping the weight down.

The ergonomic Touring Foam 280 grip has an extended grip zone , allowing you to easily move your hand up or down the pole on steep terrain – without having to adjust the pole length. This provides a smoother and more efficient movement pattern when touring and in hilly terrain. The comfort padded strap provides extra support and relief, even with gloves.

With the Powerlock 3.0 mechanism , Komperdell's strongest lock in forged aluminum, the length is securely adjusted between 105 and 135 cm . The large XL Ice-Flex crampons adapt to the surface and provide stability in deep snow, while the Ice-Flex tungsten/carbide tip provides secure grip on harder winter surfaces.
