The Komperdell Carbon FXP.4 Expedition is an advanced and extremely versatile touring pole for those who demand light weight, durability and fast handling. The revolutionary FXP construction means that the pole unfolds and assembles itself – ready to use in seconds – while being up to 30% lighter than traditional folding poles.

The pole has a 4-section construction where the upper parts are made of carbon fiber for minimal weight and maximum response, while the lower part consists of high-strength Titanal . This combination provides an optimal balance between low weight and extreme durability, even in technical and demanding terrain.

The ergonomic Trek Pro 240 grip with extended grip zone provides a secure and comfortable grip on varying inclines, perfect for both uphill and downhill sections. The comfort padded strap is soft and cushioning, providing high comfort even during long days in the mountains.

With the Powerlock 3.0 mechanism , Komperdell's strongest lock in forged aluminum, the length is easily and securely adjusted between 120 and 140 cm . The innovative Ice-Flex troughs are movable and adapt up to 28° to the slope, providing optimal grip in both snow, ice and varying winter conditions.
