Umara U Bicarbonate is a high-quality dietary supplement with sodium bicarbonate in acid-resistant capsules , developed to help you buffer the pH level in your blood during high-intensity exercise such as intervals and threshold workouts. When the pH level is maintained higher, the body can handle the acid load better, allowing you to push for longer before fatigue and “acid shock” limit performance .

Bicarbonate has a basic pH (~8.3) and acts as an effective acid buffer . However, traditional powdered bicarbonate can cause stomach upset when it reacts with the acidic environment of the stomach. Umara has solved this by encapsulating the bicarbonate in special acid-resistant capsules that pass through the stomach and release the contents first in the small intestine . The result is a maintained effect but significantly gentler on the stomach .

Each capsule contains 1 g of sodium bicarbonate , and a jar contains 250 capsules , which corresponds to about 10–15 doses depending on body weight . The dosage is adjusted individually and the intake is divided into two doses before activity for optimal effect. The product is developed and manufactured in Sweden , produced according to HACCP/GMP standards , and all ingredients are approved by EFSA for the highest quality and safety.
