SiS Marathon Race Pack brings together energy, hydration and recovery products in a complete package for marathon runners. The pack is designed to help you establish a working energy plan during long runs and reduce the need to experiment with new products on race day.
The current package version contains a 6-pack each of SiS Beta Fuel Energy Gel, Beta Fuel + Nootropics Gel, Beta Fuel Energy Chews and HYDRO+ Electrolyte Drink Mix. Also included is a 460g can of REGO Clear Recovery and a 600ml Wide Neck Sports Bottle . Flavors can be selected or vary depending on which package version is sold.
Beta Fuel products use maltodextrin and fructose in a ratio of 1:0.8 . A regular Beta Fuel Gel provides 40g of carbohydrates, while a pack of Beta Fuel Energy Chews provides 45g of carbohydrates. The Nootropics gel also provides 40g of carbohydrates but also contains 200mg of caffeine, citicoline, taurine and L-theanine.
The three energy packs contain a total of 18 energy products and around 750g of carbohydrates . The pack is therefore not only intended to be consumed during a race. It also provides enough products to train on the energy plan for several longer training sessions.
HYDRO+ is used to mix an electrolyte drink before, during or after activity. Each sachet contains five electrolytes and vitamins C, B6 and B12. REGO Clear Recovery is used after exercise and provides 20g of whey protein and 21g of carbohydrates per serving.

40 g carbohydrates
Maltodextrin and fructose
Carbohydrate ratio 1:0.8
Caffeine-free energy
Ready to consume straight from the package
The gel can be used separately or combined with chews and other products from the Beta Fuel series.
The Nootropics variant combines carbohydrates with caffeine and other active ingredients.
Each gel contains:
40 g carbohydrates
200 mg caffeine
250 mg Cognizin® Citicoline
1 g L-taurine
200 mg L-theanine
Maltodextrin and fructose in a ratio of 1:0.8
The product is primarily intended for the latter part of longer training sessions and competitions when you want to consciously use caffeine.
SiS' current instructions for use for Beta Fuel + Nootropics state a maximum of one serving per day . Therefore, always follow the current label and include caffeine from coffee, energy drinks, other gels and supplements.
The SiS Marathon Race Pack page also shows an older four-hour setup using two Nootropics gels. This conflicts with the current product instructions. Follow the current packaging recommendation of no more than one Nootropics gel per day.
High caffeine content. Not recommended for children or pregnant or breastfeeding people.
SiS Beta Fuel Energy Chews are a soft, chewable alternative to energy gels. Each pack provides:
45 g carbohydrates
Maltodextrin and fructose in a ratio of 1:0.8
Approximately 7.5 g carbohydrates per smaller chew block
Possibility to consume the product gradually
The chews can be eaten as a continuous soft bar or broken into smaller pieces. The format is especially suitable when you want to vary the consistency over a long run.
HYDRO+ is an electrolyte powder in a sachet. One sachet is mixed with 500 ml of cold water .
Each serving contains:
1,576 mg of electrolytes
Sodium
Potassium
Magnesium
Calcium
Chloride
80 mg of vitamin C
Vitamin B6
Vitamin B12
Vitamin C contributes to normal energy metabolism, while vitamins B6 and B12 contribute to reducing tiredness and fatigue.
REGO Clear Recovery is a light and fruity recovery drink that mixes with water. Unlike a traditional milky protein shake, it has a clearer and more juice-like consistency.
A serving of 46 g provides:
20 g whey protein
21 g carbohydrates
Added leucine
Protein and carbohydrates in the same drink
Mix one scoop, approximately 46g, with 500ml of water. Let the drink sit for at least one minute after mixing. SiS recommends consuming within 30-60 minutes of finishing your workout. The 460g jar provides approximately ten servings.
The marathon package is primarily intended for you to be able to test products during long sessions and create a personal plan for the race.
Use the longer workouts to test:
How often you need to supply energy
What consistency works best?
How much carbohydrates your stomach can tolerate
What flavors do you want to use during the race?
When caffeine fits into the plan
How much water you need with each product
How electrolyte needs are affected by temperature and sweat loss
Don't switch to a completely new energy plan on race day.
Mix one HYDRO+ sachet with 500ml of water and drink as needed before the start. The amount of fluid should be adjusted according to temperature, body size and how well hydrated you are already.
Combine Beta Fuel Gel and Energy Chews to reach the amount of carbohydrates you have tested during training.
An example could be:
1 Beta Fuel Gel: 40g carbohydrates
1 Beta Fuel Energy Chew: 45 g carbohydrates
Total: 85 g carbohydrates
This can be spread over about an hour for a runner who has trained to consume such an intake. However, needs and tolerance vary significantly between individuals.
Feel free to consume water along with gels and chews. The SiS Race Pack plan states around 150 ml of water with each energy intake, but the total amount of fluid needs to be adjusted according to current conditions.
Mix 46g of REGO Clear Recovery with 500ml of water and consume within 30-60 minutes of completing your activity. Supplement with regular food and additional fluids as needed.
A possible basic plan for a race of around four hours could be:
| Time | Product | Carbohydrates |
| At start | Beta Fuel Gel | 40g |
| 30 minutes | ½–1 Energy Chew | 22–45g |
| 60 minutes | Beta Fuel Gel | 40g |
| 90 minutes | ½–1 Energy Chew | 22–45g |
| 120 minutes | Beta Fuel Gel or Nootropics | 40g |
| 150 minutes | ½–1 Energy Chew | 22–45g |
| 180 minutes | Beta Fuel Gel | 40g |
| 210 minutes | Remaining chew or gel | Individually customizable |
This is just an example. Intake needs to be adjusted according to finish time, body weight, intensity, previous meals and stomach tolerance.
Use a maximum of one Nootropics gel per day according to SiS' current product instructions.
