Baouw Energy Bar Mango/Cashew is an organic energy bar with dried mango, cashews and passion fruit . Each bar provides 29.2 g of carbohydrates and 180 kcal and is suitable as energy during training, competition and longer adventures.

The bar has a soft base of dates and apple with crunchy notes of cashews and toasted buckwheat. The tropical flavor provides a change from traditional energy bars with chocolate or nuts.

The carbohydrates come mainly from dates, dried mango and apple. The bar contains no added sugar – the sugars occur naturally in the ingredients.

Mango, cashews and passion fruit

Mango/Cashew contains 24% dried mango pieces and 17% cashews . Passion fruit powder contributes a healthier acidity that balances the sweetness of the mango and the mild, rich flavor of the cashews.

Extra virgin olive oil provides additional energy while peeled and roasted buckwheat seeds contribute a slightly crunchy texture.

Use

Baouw recommends approximately 1 bar every 45 minutes during physical activity , adjusted to the intensity, duration and individual energy needs of the activity.

The bar can also be used as a snack before or after exercise. Supplement with fluids and, if necessary, electrolytes and additional carbohydrates during longer activities.
