The NNormal Kjerag 02 – Black is the further developed version of NNormal's most iconic trail shoe – now with more cushioning, better response and even higher speed . The classic black upper is combined with a striking red outsole and a clear focus: the Kjerag 02 is built to run faster .

The shoe is designed for fast trail running, racing and high-intensity workouts on technical terrain. With an updated EExpure+ (TPE-based material) midsole, you get 35% more energy return and better resilience , which provides a more responsive stride and better comfort over longer distances. Stack height has been increased to 26 mm rear / 20 mm front , combined with a more pronounced rocker for a smoother push-off.

The Matryx® Jacquard Single Layer upper is lighter, more comfortable and extremely durable. The material is dope-dyed , which means a dyeing process that uses 50-95% less water compared to traditional methods – a clear step towards more sustainable performance.

The outsole remains unchanged – and for good reason. Vibram® Megagrip with Litebase technology delivers market-leading grip on both wet and dry surfaces, with low weight and high durability. With 3.5 mm studs , you get reliable traction on technical trails, rocks, gravel and fast paths.

Kjerag 02 retains its DNA , but is now adapted for more runners: faster, more forgiving and more comfortable – without compromising on precision or feel.

The Normal Kjerag 02 is a unisex trail shoe with a flexible but performance-oriented fit. The model is generally perceived as normal in length, with a secure grip around the heel and midfoot. Use your measured foot length in the table.

How to measure your foot

1. Place a piece of paper on the floor with one short side against a wall.
2. Put on the socks you plan to run in.
3. Place your heel against the wall and place your body weight on your foot.
4. Mark in front of the longest toe and measure the distance from the wall.
5. Measure both feet and use the measurement from the longest one.

What size should I choose?

Kjerag 02 is usually normal in size. Therefore, usually choose your regular running shoe size or the size that corresponds to the foot length in the table.

• If you are between two sizes, you should choose the larger one.
• The model fits relatively tight and stable around the midfoot.
• The tapered toe shape may feel tight for a wide forefoot. Please try the model before purchasing if you usually need a wide last.
• Don't automatically choose half a size smaller based on the size advice for Kjerag 01 – Kjerag 02 has been adjusted and feels more normal in length.
