The Pajak HD3 Recco X–P Backpack is a technical expedition backpack developed for climbing, alpine use and demanding hiking , where quick access, stability and safety are crucial. With an adjustable pack volume of 45–65 liters and thoughtful organization, the HD3 is just as suitable for long alpine tours as for technical climbing days.

The backpack has two entrances to the main compartment – a roll-top closure and a panel opening on the back – allowing you to quickly access your gear without having to unpack everything. The base material is X-Pac reinforced with carbon fiber , complemented by Cordura and Dyneema , for high durability and low weight in tough terrain.

For safety in winter and alpine environments, the HD3 is equipped with a Recco system . It acts as a passive reflector that can be located by rescue services in the event of an accident or avalanche – without the need for batteries or activation. A removable avalanche transceiver (ABC) pocket provides quick access to a shovel and probe , which is critical in emergency situations.

The carrying system is designed to keep your load close to your body and remain stable even on steep and technical terrain. Side compression straps with metal buckles make it easy to adjust volume, while a removable hip belt provides flexibility – keep it on for long approaches or remove it for maximum freedom of movement when climbing. The backpack has attachments for two ice axes , daisy chains , durable pull and tie-down loops , and convenient pockets on the hip belt and shoulder straps for quick access to small accessories.
