Nikwax Waterproofing Wax for Leather is a high-performance leather impregnation in cream form that provides instant water repellency while maintaining the suppleness and breathability of the leather . Perfect for hiking boots, leather shoes and other smooth leather products exposed to wet and harsh conditions.

Unlike traditional waxes, this impregnation is water-based, PFC-free, non-flammable and aerosol-free . It penetrates the leather without clogging the material or making it hard – providing long-lasting protection and high comfort.

How to use Nikwax Waterproofing Wax for Leather

For best results, shoes should be clean before application.

Clean shoes with a damp cloth or Nikwax Footwear Cleaning Gel™

Apply the wax evenly to damp or wet leather

Make sure that seams and edges are also treated

Wipe away any excess.

Let the shoes dry naturally at room temperature.

⚠️ Note: May darken leather slightly. Always test on a hidden area first.

Drying & care

Let the shoes air dry at room temperature.

Stuff paper in your shoes to absorb moisture

Avoid heaters, radiators and open flames – rapid drying can damage the leather
