Nikwax TX.Direct® Wash-In is a high-performance, wash-in impregnation that restores and improves the water repellency and breathability of waterproof and breathable functional garments. The product is specifically designed for shell jackets, rainwear, skiwear and other technical outerwear used in demanding weather conditions.

Unlike many traditional impregnations, TX.Direct Wash-In is easy to use directly in the washing machine or by hand. It is water-based, PFC-free, non-flammable and does not require tumble drying to work – although low heat can further enhance the effect if the garment allows it.

The impregnation reduces the material's water absorption, which makes the garment dry faster, ventilate better and keep you drier and warmer during activity. Recommended for all types of modern membranes and technical materials.

How to use Nikwax TX.Direct Wash-In

For best results, garments should always be cleaned first with Nikwax Tech Wash® in a separate wash.

1. Remove all traces of regular detergent from the detergent compartment

2. Add a maximum of 2 clean items

3. Use 100 ml of impregnation per garment

4. Run a 30°C synthetic program with low spin speed.

⚠️ Do not machine wash garments where taped seams have already come loose.
To maintain waterproofness over time – always wash with Nikwax Tech Wash®.
