Bergans Expedition Down Pant – down pants for extreme cold

Bergans Expedition Down Pant are extra warm expedition pants, developed and tested for demanding tours in extreme cold. The combination of RDS-certified goose down, durable outer fabric and thoughtful features makes them a reliable choice for winter expeditions and other activities where effective insulation is crucial.
The pants are insulated with RDS-certified 95/5 goose down with a fill power of 750 cuin. The box construction helps distribute the down evenly and prevents cold spots. The durable polyamide outer fabric is windproof and water-repellent, but not waterproof.
Heavy-duty zippers along the sides provide effective ventilation and make the Bergans Expedition Down Pant easy to put on and take off. The drop seat feature makes toilet breaks easier in the cold, while removable and adjustable suspenders provide a stable and comfortable fit.
The knees, seat and leg cuffs are reinforced for better durability. The elasticated leg cuffs can be adjusted with snaps and have internal friction bands and hooks that attach to the boots. This helps the trouser legs stay in place even when you move in deep snow.

Choose your usual size if you want an extra roomy fit or plan to wear very thick layers under the pants.
Waist: Measure around the narrowest part of your waist. Keep the measuring tape horizontal without pulling it too tight.
Hip: Measure around the widest part of the hip and butt. This is the most important measurement for pants.
Inside leg length: Measure from the crotch along the inside of the leg down to the floor. Stand upright without shoes.
The Expedition Down Pant is designed to be worn as an insulating outer garment and has room for base layers and other layers. The waist can be adjusted with elastic and Velcro, while the suspenders can be adjusted to the length of the torso.
If your hip and waist measurements point to different sizes, you should primarily base your measurements on the hip measurement. If you are between two sizes, Bergans generally recommends the smaller size, as their expedition and outdoor clothing is spaciously designed for layering.
