Hestra Wool Pile/Terry Liner 5-finger is a soft and warm 5-finger lining that fits the outdoor classic Fält Guide Glove (31270) and many other Hestra gloves with removable lining. The lining is made of wool terry with an extra airy and warming wool pile top, which provides high insulating capacity even when damp.

Hestra Wool Pile/Terry Liner 5-finger is a warm, removable wool liner for the Fält Guide Glove and other compatible Hestra gloves. It is a form-fitting replacement liner – not a thin liner mitten to be worn under an existing liner.

The measurements are guidelines. Measure both hands and start with the larger hand.

Choose the same size as the outer glove

If you are replacing a worn or lost liner, you should normally choose the same size as the outer glove:

• Outer glove size 7 – choose lining size 7.
• Outer glove size 9 – choose lining size 9.
• Outer glove size 11 – choose lining size 11.

Check the size marking on the outer glove or the old lining. The same size number provides the best conditions for the fingers, Velcro fastener and wrist to fit correctly.

How to measure your hand

Measure the circumference of your hand with a soft tape measure:

1. Place the measuring tape around the widest part of your hand, just below the knuckles.
2. Don't include your thumb in the measurement.
3. Keep your hand relaxed and do not tighten the measuring tape.
4. Compare the result with the table above.

If you don't have a soft tape measure, you can use a string and then measure the length of the string with a ruler.

If you are between two sizes

If you do not have an existing outer glove to start from and are between two sizes, the larger one is normally recommended. The lining should not fit so tightly that the fingers are squeezed together or blood circulation is restricted.

If you already have a compatible outer glove, however, its size should guide your choice. A liner that is larger than the outer glove can crease and be difficult to insert, while a liner that is too small can end up misaligned between the fingers and the Velcro fastener.

This is how the lining should fit

The right size means that:

• the fingers reach down into each finger without pressing against the top
• The lining lies flat without creases in the palm of your hand.
• you can bend and extend your fingers freely
• the Velcro fastener fits right into the outer glove
• the outer glove can be put on without pulling the lining out of position
• the fit provides some insulating air without feeling loose

Always try the liner together with the outer glove. A liner may feel just right on your hand but still be too big or too small for the shell itself.
