Hestra Heated Liner Mitt

Hestra Heated Liner Mitt is a battery-heated thumb liner that provides maximum warmth for skiers and outdoor enthusiasts who easily freeze their hands . With integrated heating loops over the fingers and the back of the hand, the liner keeps hands comfortably warm even during the coldest winter days.
The heat is easily adjusted via a switch discreetly integrated into the Hestra logo on the top of the liner. You can choose between three heat levels depending on temperature and activity level:
Low: 8–10 hours
Medium: 4–5 hours
High: about 2 hours
The Heated Liner Mitt is designed to fit the Hestra Army Leather Heli Ski Mitt , but also works in many other Hestra mittens with a high collar and removable lining . The outer fabric in smooth, breathable ripstop fabric means that the liner easily slides into a shell glove, while the inside in soft fleece with Fiberfill synthetic insulation provides comfortable basic warmth even without active heating.
The liner comes complete with rechargeable batteries and USB charger . The model is also available in a 5-finger version for those who prefer it.
Heated Liner should always be used together with a shell glove to protect the electronic components.
The electronic components may interfere with avalanche transceivers – use with caution during alpine activities.

The Hestra Heated Liner Mitt is a battery-heated thumb liner with heating panels over the fingers and thumb. It replaces the outer mitten's usual removable liner and is specially developed for the Army Leather Heli Ski Mitt.
The right size is especially important. A liner that is too large increases the distance between your hand and the heating panels, while a liner that is too small can restrict circulation.

The measurements are approximate. Measure both hands and choose the size based on the larger hand.
The Heated Liner Mitt should normally have the same size number as the compatible outer mitten:
The same size provides the best conditions for the liner, heating panels, battery part and outer mitten to work together.
The Heated Liner is intended to replace the regular main liner. Do not use the original liner and the Heated Liner at the same time in the same outer glove.

If you don't have a soft tape measure, you can use a string and then measure the length of the string with a ruler.
The liner should fit close enough for the heating panels to follow the hand, but not so tight that the material presses against the palm, knuckles or thumb.
The fingers should be able to move together in the main part of the mitten. The thumb should reach down properly and be able to bend without the lining tightening.
Light contact between the hand and the liner is desirable. Large air pockets or a noticeably loose fit can increase the distance to the heating panels and reduce the perceived warmth.
If possible, try both sizes together with the intended outer mitten.
Choose the larger size if the smaller one:
However, don't choose a larger liner just to create extra air. Unlike a traditional insulating liner, the heating panels need to be relatively close to the hand to work effectively.
If the larger liner feels loose and the smaller one feels tight, the model or size of the outer mitten may be unsuitable for your hand.

An extra base liner can increase the distance between the skin and the heating panels and make the whole combination too tight. If you still use a very thin liner, you need to make sure that:

Separate models are available for five-finger gloves. The Heated Liner Mitt should therefore not be used in a five-finger or three-finger outer glove.
The Heated Liner is an inner glove and should be used in conjunction with a protective outer glove. The liner is not waterproof and the electronic components need to be protected from moisture and external wear.
