The cuff and shell feature lightweight yet strong Grimalid®, reinforced with glass and carbon fiber to deliver high performance at a reasonable price. The Speed Lock Lite system makes the transition from skiing to walking and back smooth with cuff operation via a Dyneema® cord.

The boot also features the BOA® closure system, which ensures quick and easy closure with precise and secure adjustments without pressure points.

The Alien's Vibram® UFO sole is made with a TOP85 compound that provides good durability and grip in cold conditions.
