The Noctia Max comes with a USB C fast-charging 18650 lithium-ion battery with discharge protection. For extra safety during travel and carry-on luggage, the battery terminals are positioned at the same end - this allows you to turn the battery over to eliminate the risk of the light accidentally turning on in your bag or luggage!

Note: When you receive your new Noctia headlamp, the battery must be properly inserted before use.
