The Exped Flex 1.5RM is a lightweight, durable and versatile foam sleeping pad , designed for trekking, hiking, bikepacking and camping in warmer conditions . The medium size provides full body length and good sleeping comfort , while keeping the weight low and the construction extremely reliable.

The underlay is made of closed-cell IXPE foam , making it puncture-proof, water-resistant and highly durable . With an R-value of 1.7 (ASTM standard) , it provides reliable basic insulation for summer use and lighter 3-season trips , as well as effective protection against cold and wear from the ground.

The accordion-folded design makes the Flex 1.5RM quick to unfold and easy to pack, either inside a backpack or as an external sleeping pad. It works great as a standalone sleeping pad , but is also a popular choice as a protective and insulating layer under an inflatable sleeping pad for added durability and warmth.
