Exped Flex 3R LW is an extra thick, extremely durable and spacious foam sleeping pad , developed for colder nights, demanding tours and 3-season use . The LW (Long Wide) version offers extra length and width , which provides greater sleeping comfort for larger people or those who want plenty of room to move on the pad.

At a whopping 3.1 cm thick, Flex 3R is the thickest foam mattress pad in EXPED's range . It is made of closed-cell IXPE foam , which makes it puncture-proof, water-resistant and very dimensionally stable . The higher R-value of 2.8 (ASTM standard) provides reliable insulation for three seasons , both as a stand-alone mattress pad and as an insulating and protective layer under an inflatable mattress pad .

The accordion-folded design makes the sleeping pad quick to unfold and easy to pack, either inside the backpack or attached to the outside. Thanks to its robust construction, the Flex 3R LW also works well in environments where inflatable mats are at risk of damage, such as rocky ground, snow or hard ground.
