Remove the bite valve and straw from the lid before cleaning. Hand wash the parts with warm water and mild detergent or place them in the top rack of the dishwasher. Avoid pushing a brush through the bite valve opening as this may damage the silicone. Rinse thoroughly and allow the parts to dry before storing.
