The Exped Bivybag 100% VentAir is a fully breathable and waterproof bivy bag , designed for those looking for a more comfortable and condensation-free alternative to traditional emergency bivouacs. It is intended for both planned bivouac nights , minimalist overnight stays and as a protective cover for the sleeping bag in damp or windy conditions.
Unlike the Exped Uno UL and Duo UL, which are primarily emergency bivouacs, the 100% VentAir model is built for repeated use . The VentAir® material combines waterproofness with very good breathability , which reduces condensation and creates a more comfortable climate during the night – especially important for extended use in cool or damp weather.
The 100% VentAir bivy bag has a spacious mummy shape with a hood , which provides good freedom of movement and space for an insulating sleeping bag. It works great both independently under the open sky and as extra protection in combination with a tarp , where it protects the sleeping bag against dew, wind and ground moisture.
