Hilleberg Soulo is a premium single-person tent that combines low weight, impressive strength and a completely freestanding construction. It is designed to be pitched almost anywhere – on rocky outcrops, hard ground, snow, sand or other places where using ground stakes can be difficult.

Soulo is designed for four seasons . The outer tent walls go all the way down to the ground and the inner tent's mosquito net sections can be covered with adjustable fabric panels. This provides flexibility for both cold, windy and more ventilated conditions.
Despite its robust construction, the Hilleberg Soulo has a low minimum weight of 2 kg and a compact pack size of 43 x 17 cm . This makes the tent popular among alpinists, expeditions, touring cyclists, motorcyclists, canoeists, mountain hikers and weekend campers who want a light but very strong tent.
The inner and outer tents are connected but can be taken apart, allowing them to be erected simultaneously for quick and easy set-up. The tent also has an integrated vestibule that provides good storage space for gear, shoes and equipment.

Hilleberg Soulo uses Kerlon 1200 flysheet and 9mm poles to provide a very good balance between low weight and high stability. The freestanding dome design makes the tent easy to pitch even on difficult surfaces.
The system of short pole channels and pole hooks makes set-up quick and easy. Since the inner and outer tents are connected, the tent can be pitched as one unit, which is a great advantage in bad weather.

Optionally, there is a protective floor that covers the entire surface under the outer tent, including the vestibule. The protective floor is attached to the outer tent and can remain in place during assembly and disassembly.
The inner tent can also be replaced with a mesh inner tent , which is sold separately. The inner and outer tents can be used separately. For separate setup of the inner tent, pole holders are required, which are sold separately.
