Åsnes Alpine Basket 90 mm is a flexible and lightweight alpine basket for skiing and touring, designed for those who want better precision and less resistance than with traditional loess nut baskets. The basket fits all Åsnes pole models and is an excellent choice for top touring, mountaineering and prepared or varied snow conditions.

Unlike the larger loess nut baskets that come as standard, the Alpine Basket 90 mm provides:

better feel for spelling

faster pendulum

less resistance in harder snow

The trough is made of durable and flexible PA plastic , which ensures a long service life even during active riding in demanding terrain.

Easy assembly

For smooth installation, it is recommended to warm the trough in warm water (not boiling) before assembly. This makes the material more pliable and makes it easier to screw onto the rod.
