Åsnes Bakset 100 mm – Spare Truga for mountain and ski touring

Åsnes Basket 100 mm is a robust spare trunk that fits all Åsnes ski poles . It is designed for mountain and ski touring where reliable equipment is crucial, especially on longer tours in varying snow conditions.

All Åsnes poles come standard with sturdy lug nuts, but for long hikes, expeditions or sledding trips it is always recommended to have an extra set of spare lugs in your pack. A broken or lost lug can quickly affect both traversability and safety – especially in deep snow.

Adapted for mountains and varying snow conditions

With a diameter of 100 mm, the Fjell 100 mm offers a good balance between load-bearing capacity in loose snow and agility in more varied terrain . It is slightly more agile than the largest loose snow tires, but still provides stable support for alpine skiing and winter touring.

The trough is made of durable material and designed to withstand cold, strain and long-term use.

Easy field installation

For the easiest and safest installation, Åsnes recommends:

Heat the pan in hot water (not boiling).

Screw or press it onto the rod tip while the material is soft

This ensures a tight and durable fit even in cold conditions.
