The Åsnes Polar 2-Section Carbon/Kevlar is a premium adjustable ski touring pole for demanding mountain and summit tours , developed for backcountry skiers who place high demands on strength, low weight and functionality. The pole combines carbon fiber for low weight with Kevlar reinforcements that increase impact resistance and durability – perfect for long tours in varied and exposed terrain.

The two-piece construction provides flexible length adjustment between 110–155 cm , making the pole equally useful for uphill and downhill skiing. It is equipped with a state-of-the-art Flick-Lock locking mechanism , developed by Åsnes in collaboration with Per Finne, which provides secure locking and quick adjustment even with gloves.

The long EVA handle allows for quick grip changes on steep terrain and traverses, while the new strap design offers one-handed grip, precise fit and quick adjustment around the wrist . The strap can be adjusted smoothly even on the move – an important detail on cold and technical tours.

Åsnes Polar comes complete with both a sturdy loose snow cup in Hypalon/PA6 and an alpine cup , which makes the pole very versatile – from deep loose snow to firmer surfaces and ski touring.
