Åsnes Ingstad Waxless with Rottefella Xplore binding is a complete touring ski package developed for demanding mountain tours, long transports and active skiing in varied terrain. The combination of Åsnes modern mountain skis and the Rottefella Xplore system provides exceptional control, stability and riding pleasure - without the need for binding wax.
Åsnes Ingstad Waxless is a modern touring ski with a generous sidecut , making it fast in turns and stable in downhill positions. The ski is built for skiers who want to be able to go long distances efficiently , but at the same time feel secure and precise in downhills, traverses and technical terrain.
The distinct Nordic Rocker construction combined with a tapered tip provides:
better floatation in deep snow
easier turn initiation
high stability in varying snow conditions
The waxless tread provides reliable grip in moderate terrain and is perfect for mountain tours where simplicity, reliability and low maintenance are important.
The ski's triple core of paulownia and poplar provides low weight without compromising strength or torsional rigidity. A pair of Ingstad in 200 cm weighs just over 2 kg , making it well suited for:

The included Rottefella Xplore binding provides significantly better lateral stability and power transfer than traditional BC bindings. The system is developed for active mountaineering where control in downhill situations is crucial, without compromising walking comfort.
