Åsnes Access Skin 74mm MIX is a short, light and efficient climbing skin developed for alpine touring skis where low weight, flexibility and good glide are crucial. With a 70/30 mix of mohair and nylon you get an excellent balance between grip on the uphill, durability and efficient glide on flatter sections.

The Access Skin is mounted in the midsection of the ski , providing sufficient grip on moderate terrain, approaches and shorter climbs – perfect for tours where you want to move quickly without wearing full-length skins. The compact design means that the Access Skin easily fits in a jacket pocket or backpack and can always be with you, even on lift-based days.

Thanks to the low weight, you can reduce your pack size by around 450–500 grams compared to traditional hiking skins , which makes a big difference during long hiking days.
