Dynafit Crampons 90 mm provide extra grip when climbing on hard-packed and frozen snow. The crampons complement the skins when the snow gets hard and help prevent the skis from sliding backwards or sideways.

With a width of 90 mm and a stated weight of 99 g , the model is a lightweight accessory for your touring equipment. It is suitable for those who use narrower touring skis and want to be able to enhance grip when the surface changes.

The toe-pieces are mounted at the toe of the binding and are pressed into the snow when you load the ski. They are especially useful on traverses and during spring summit tours, when snow that softened during the day has frozen overnight.

Choose the right width for your skis

The cutting edge needs to be able to move freely over the ski. Dynafit recommends a width that is at least 5 mm larger than the ski's waist measurement . For example, a 90 mm cutting edge gives a 5 mm margin for a ski with an 85 mm waist.

Also check that your binding model has a compatible crampon attachment. Try the combination of skis, bindings and crampons at home before your first ride.

Assembly and use

Insert the cutting edge upright into the attachment at the toe of the binding, center it and fold it down over the ski. Follow the instructions for your binding and cutting edge.

Mount them on a flat surface before you reach the hard section. Use a flat walking position so that the teeth reach deep into the snow. Remove the crampons before downhill skiing and use them on snow, not on rocks or bare ice.
